Kid Pitch 50/70 - Ages 11 to 13

Tulsa National Little League Kid Pitch 50/70 play standard baseball rules. Steel cleats, head first slide, lead-off, dropped third strike are all permitted. Players can qualify for the Little League World Series by playing in this league and meeting all eligibility rules. There is also a Fall season that begins in late September and usually concludes in the first week of November.

All players must reside within Tulsa National Little League Boundary or go to a school within the boundary and drafted onto teams. The league will play a minimum of 12 games. Games will be played at Tulsa National Little League complex near the corner of 61st Street and South Yale Avenue in Tulsa.

All players must register individually. We offer a very affordable registration fee that includes a hat and jersey. There are no other league costs involved as Little League does not charge teams for umpires, gate admission or parking. At the conclusion of each regular season, we schedule a tournament for the players. The winners of the tournament and runner-up teams receive trophies for each player.

Head Coaches, assistant coaches, and scorekeepers must complete a volunteer application. This is a safety requirement for the players and mandatory by Little League. You can do this during player registration or on our volunteer registration page.

Little League provides online instructional video, coaching tips and a booklet to help out each team. We’ve found the most successful teams have a good team manager that sends out a weekly email to the team.

Players of Little League league age 11 and 12 may be eligible to tryout for the All Star team. The All Star team has the opportunity to play and advance from the State level, Regional level and finally the international level of World Series tournaments. This opportunity is the basis for and to potentially advance to the Little League World Series at Williamsport, PA. The annual showcase of the top 11- and 12-year-old teams in the world will play the U.S. and International championship games in August each year.

The Little League International Tournament is open to Tulsa National Little League and more than 80 other countries. More than 7,000 teams, approximately 6,500 of those teams in the U.S., begin the tournaments in the Little League Baseball division. About 6,500 are eliminated in the first three weeks of play. About 45,000 games are played in eight divisions leading up to the various World Series tournaments. More than 16,000 of those games are played in the Little League division, the equivalent of more than six Major League Baseball seasons.
